We suggest that members considering retirement, contact the Pension Department one year to six months in advance to ensure that all records are up-to-date and to ensure adequate time to process necessary forms.

To assist members nearing retirement, Local 1262 also offers Pre-Retirement Seminars several times a year. The seminars provide guidance and information to help you plan for your retirement and it is the only program of its kind completely self-administered by a local union.
For information on upcoming seminars, contact your Shop Steward or your Union Representative.

As always, if you have questions regarding your coverage or eligibility, contact the Health & Welfare Fund Office at 1-800-522-4161 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
